Getting to Quitaque, TX

Quitaque is located in northwest Texas, inside the triangle formed by I-27 between Lubbock and Amarillo and Highway 287 from Wichita Falls to Amarillo. It is on Highway 86, between Estelline and Tulia, in the beautiful Caprock Canyon country.

Quitaque is the home of Caprock Canyons State Park and Trailway (part of the same canyon system that includes Palo Duro Canyon) and the Comanchero Canyons Museum.

From Quitaque to the ranch

• 4 miles south on FM 1065.
• Turn right (west). Proceed on FM 689 for 4 miles.
• You'll see a cattle guard on the right. Our sign is to the east.
• Turn in, and go 1/4 mile to parking areas.
